A month ago, I was back at Horsham Registry Office and at the Fitzleroi Barn in West Sussex for Claire & Paul’s wedding.
Here are some pictures of their day !

A couple of weeks ago, I met with Claire and Paul who are getting married at the Fitzleroi Barn in West Sussex next month.
As I usually do with ‘my’ couples, I went to check the venue with them. We had a look at the Registry Office where the ceremony will be held and we went to check the Barn together. This place looks beautiful ! We also had a look around to find a nice spot for their portraits shots on their Big Day.

I know that sometimes my couples choose to go for the Documentary photography style to go away from the usual staged portraits images but I like to do those “Getting to Know You” sessions ! It enables me to spend some times with the couple and see how we get along and how they react in front of the camera. On the Wedding Day, I will mainly shoot in an non intrusive way with the “Odd” staged family and couple portraits here and there though.

It was nice to chat with Claire and Paul and have a little look at the British country side. One more month to go before their Wedding Day !

In July, I have attended Sam & Andy’s wedding in Stockport near Manchester. The ceremony was hold at Bramhall Hall historic house and the reception at the Village Hotel in Cheadle. It was a beautiful day with not a drop of rain ! Here are some pictures of their day.

Another local wedding for me a couple of weeks ago !

Amy & Nick tied the knot at the Parish Church of St Mary’s Stoke Newington in North London. From the Church we quickly went to Lordship Park for a Portrait session, while Amy & Nick had their horses and carriage waiting for them.

The reception was at the lovely Londesborough Gastropub. It was the second time that I have photographed a wedding reception there. The first time being Kerry & Stuart’s wedding last September. I could not believe how lucky they got with the weather ! It probably was the only sunny day of the past month ! Such a nice day !

A couple of days ago, I went to help Kat from Knightstar Photography to photograph Jodie & Greg’s wedding. They got married in Milton Keynes and had their reception at Horwood House. Find below a few pictures of the day. XX OH and please, Like my Facebook Page !

I have always wanted to do a 50′s bridal inspiration shot. When I saw Delphine Manivet‘s dresses. One of them looked very 50′s to me and I thought that it was the perfect opportunity to try to set up a 50′s styled shoot. I used one dress by Delphine and one from Honeypie Boutique. I also sourced some Vintage Jewelry from Vintage&Lovely, hair pieces and cards from Sibo DesignsWookie Flowers supplied lovely bouquets and Amelia George baked a fruit cake for me.
The pictures have been taken at the Bloombury Bowling Lanes. Have a look at some pictures below.

This is the first batch of my wedding inspiration shoots. I’ve been working on those little projects for a few weeks now, looking for nice suppliers, venues and models to collaborate with me… I’ve choose one of my local pub “The Kenton“ as the first location because of its nice vintage furnitures and the friendly atmosphere. I was lucky enough to shoot there for half a day earlier this week with a model, make-up artist and nice flowers for a vintage inspired photo session !
